Area law enforcement offers motorcycle safety course

Because of the popularity of motorcycle riding in and around Jacksonville, local law enforcement has its own programs to ensure bikers are able to practice their hobby safely.

The Jacksonville Traffic Division has a free one-day safety program for motorcyclists called Bike Safe N.C., held at the Jacksonville Police Training academy behind the police station.
