Diversion

• Scottie Adkins, 38, of the 3000 block of Legion Park Drive pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking of property valued at more than $ 500 but less than $ 10,000. Adkins was sentenced to four years in prison, diverted for five years, and must pay $ 3,654 in restitution.

Final sentencing

• McKenzie Marie Boswell, 25, of the 2300 block of Twenty Grand Avenue pleaded guilty to manufacturing meth, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Gerald Ray Hurd, 39, of the 1900 block of Cullen Drive pleaded guilty to charges involving three separate indictments: Two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance and first-degree fleeing or evading police officer and was sentenced to three years in prison.
