SFCC to offer Basic Rider motorcycle course

Give us a Weekend, We’ll Make You a Biker!” is the theme of State Fair Community College’s Basic Rider motorcycle course this fall.

The course is designed for beginning or re-entry riders who want to learn how to operate a motorcycle safely. Little or no knowledge of motorcycle operation is necessary.

The final class for this fall is scheduled Oct. 26-28 on the Sedalia campus.

Class will meet from 6-10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The course includes a minimum of five hours classroom instruction in Room 609 of the Automotive Technology Building and at least 10 hours of practical riding in a controlled, off-street environment.
