State Must Cut Down On Motorcycle Carnage
News from Hartford Courant:

On Friday morning, a Harwinton man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a tree. Later in the day, the Life Star helicopter was dispatched to Vernon to bring a man injured in a motorcycle accident to Hartford Hospital. On Saturday night, a Meriden woman was killed in a motorcycle accident.

The beat goes on. A week earlier a motorcyclist was killed in Trumbull; on Sept. 1 a motorcyclist was killed and another was badly injured in Chaplin.

This is business as usual in Connecticut, and it shouldn’t be. In addition to the human tragedy, these accidents use public police and medical responders. It has to be made safer. This do…………… continues on Hartford Courant
